Stuart McKenzie - General Partner, Endeavour Capital
Stuart left a ten-year career in engineering/project management in 1999 to pursue a goal of establishing a NZ based high growth company. He took an unexpected opportunity to become an investor in some early stage businesses in 2001 and since then has been both investing in and helping a variety of start-up companies. In this time, Stuart has been focusing on creating strategic growth and has been intimately involved with Photonic Innovations since its inception.
Stuart has a BE from Auckland University in Civil Engineering (1991), a Diploma in Business from Auckland University, and an MBA from Otago University (2000).
Colin Dawson - Chief Executive, Otago Innovation Ltd
Following ten years in veterinary clinical practice, Colin has held many senior executive positions in the public and private healthcare sectors. More recently, Colin has been a Partner in a health consulting, and also in an investment banking services firm. In addition to his role as Chief Executive Officer of Otago Innovation Limited, Colin is a director of listed Biotechnology companies BLIS Technologies and Pacific Edge Biotechnology, as well as being a board member for a number of other Otago University start-ups. Colin is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, the NZ Institute of Directors, and an alumnus of the Stanford University Senior Executive Programme.
